Yesterday America celebrated the anniversary of its independence from Britain. On July 4, 1776 the thirteen colonies declared themselves to be independent of British rule. It proceeded to declare for the American citizen certain rights which it held to be "inalienable". One of these was the right of free speech. Properly exercised, this right is a good thing, when one is free to speak and do what is right, proper, and moral, that which is good for society overall. Strangely enough, it did the opposite. Free speech has reduced Truth as each man's opinion, truth as relative to how each man perceives the world. Combined with compulsory education, now, each man sees the world as he is educated, how he is trained by his government to understand his world, so that man now only echoes the voice of his government under this "free speech"; and since the state is Godless, can we expect a God-fearing population? We are not free to discuss what is right, as Gilbert expressed in the below citation, we now express what is profitable to "progress" and on every man's lips now is the praise of public education. True, now all men read and write, but are they really educated? The question is really, educated in what? He is educated in falsehoods and propaganda, all of which subsequently profits the system. The "history" that he learns is not history but revisionism, the rewriting of history to make a certain few groups who challenged authority and order in society for anarchy appear great while demonizing the other. Literature is now nothing more than the study of certain ideas the like of which savour of communism; which is evident from the almost religious study of the Communist manifesto by Karl Marx in modern high schools.
Now it is forbidden to attempt to speak of truth and morality, with illustrations of which the Ten Commandments represent, which are now forbidden to be placed in any public location. Now, certain speech is not permitted, speech about the races, and religion are now dismissed as "hate speech" in order to keep certain forms of speech from reaching the ears of the public. Things good and salutary are not permitted to be spoken because it is not favourable to certain people, but what these do not understand is that not every man can be pleased in a country as diverse as this one, so they seek to please such men, offending the majority who demand moral principles. They seek to please man, and not God. God's laws are taken down and trampled while the vile laws of an infidel nation are placed on a pedestal. In such cases Free speech is not a good thing, but a terrible thing, because it really is free speech, but not that of a good kind; it is the freedom to speak only that which is favourable towards immoral minorities, and those things which ignore or deny the very existence of God.
Religion is now an afterthought in the mind of the average American, they seek to place schools in the place of the Church. The lower schools are their catechism classes in which they are catechized in the doctrine of the Godless state. Colleges and universities are now as secular seminaries in which now they are seminarians in the priesthood of the state. The evil in such education is not that every man receives it, nor in that it is education, but that it is education in the wrong things. In such places children spend more time than they do with their own parents, thus, the Godless state virtually raises the children of its country. Free speech, that which speaks the praises of the Godless minority which seeks to place the state on an equal plane with God, as such did the Roman Emperors, but they did it with the help of the religions, not education, they controlled the religions as the state controls the education nowadays.
Oddly enough, each of these "inalienable rights" have been alienated by the very state that proclaims them. We are not free to denounce immorality as such, we are not allowed to expose falsehoods, and the reason is that the Godless state is immoral, and that it is the one promulgating such falsehoods. "They should realize that a government... must ...present a one-sided justification of its action... Facts must be distorted, relevant circumstances concealed, and a picture presented which by its crude colouring will persuade the ignorant people that their government is blameless, their cause is righteous... there are evasions, half truths, which are more subtly misleading, and gradually became governmental habit"(Ponsbury, Falsehood in wartime). There is not free speech, but only that which is favourable to one clique or another.
Nearly all of the "rights" in the "Bills of Rights" has been in one way or another violated, the freedom of religion is down trodden by the media in that only certain things may be freely expressed. With the idea that the rights of the state supercede those of the Church, the idea of free speech has acted to destroy Catholic truths as mere foolishness and outdates mythology from the dark ages. This bill has been used by the Education system to replace the Ten Commandment, so that now, children can recite the Bill of Rights and the preamble to the Constitution, but they cannot recite the Ten Commandments. Examples of this is that it is forbidden to denounce the immorality of homosexuality, and forbidden to question the now dogma of the "holocaust"; but as pointed out in previous posts, free to doubt and deny and denounce the dogmas of the Catholic Church.
This nation is made out to be great, when in reality no nation on the face of the earth has done more for the destruction of Catholicism within the last 200+ years of its history than Uncle Sam. It is almost impossible to find 5 consecutive decades in the history of this country in which it was not engaged in warfare. It has made war, and through such wars many of the good and the brave died and many of the bad and the cowards survived. The wars that have ensued from it were directed in some way towards certain nations that contained a sizeable Catholic populace, and little more than two decades later, Catholicism was a minority. Its media and culture have waged all out war on the Catholic Church, ridiculing its doctrines as superstitions and other such nonsense, and it was this media that has supplanted many of our greatest feast days with fairy tale characters from Pagan mythologies. And the feast day of this state is celebrated with such splendors and the aroma of barbeque steak fills the air every fourth day of July; but Easter is not observed at all, instead, they play with plastic eggs and place everywhere the image of an animal when they should display the image of the saviour of mankind - Jesus Christ. They should be in the Churches celebrating this most wonderful feast with the utmost solemnity. It is thus how the feat of Christmass is celebrated. Images everywhere of a fat man in a red costume in sleigh with reign deer and a big bag of who knows what. Such paganinity is displayed by the majority of this nation which has forgotten its saviour, and delivered itself into the hands of the pagan ideas and the feast days of the atheist state. In its popular culture is everywhere the most abominable impurity imaginable combined with the worst abominations ever conceived, while treating with content the ordinances of God. It is feasts as this one as shows where the loyalty of this people lie - with their godless state and their sports and food, and not with God, true freedom and eternal life, they celebrate the independance of a nation from God.
